One of my absolute favorite ways to use essential oils is to cook with them. Not only are these great oils used for medicinal purposes but you can also use them in the kitchen on a daily basis. Crazy, I know, right?!? Here are a few of my favorites:
Lemon oil: I add 5-10 drops of this 🍋 into cream cheese cookies (to die for) or my salad dressings that I make 🥗.
Wild orange oil: I add 5-10 drops of this 🍊 into my sugar cookies 🍪 . Yum, yum, & might I add, yum.
Peppermint: I add 5-8 drops of this into my brownie batter. You will never eat brownies the same way again. These taste like those Girl Scout 🍫 thin mints. Say no more.
Cinnamon: 1 – 2 drops in the butter sugar combo of any apple 🍎 or pumpkin 🎃 pie. It gives it the greatest taste and saves me from every having to buy cinnamon when I have the freshest oil on hand.
Lime & Cilantro: 1 drop of this into my homemade salsa 🌶 or guacamole 🥑. You will never need to go to the store for limes, lemons, or oranges again when a recipe calls for the juice of a fruit. Just use your oil that has a never ending shelf life. Fresh all the time.
