Are you headed to Disney soon and are looking for a great property to stay at that fits within your budget?? Well, today i’m here to tell you why we love Disney’s Port New Orleans, French Quarters. ⚜️ This might just be the place for you too!
The top 10+ reasons why I loved this property:
1. Very affordable. At $250 a night, this is a deal compared to most Disney properties.
2. The theming – maybe I’m a sucker for Marti Gras and New Orleans since a big part of my family is from Louisiana but it truly made me feel as if I was in the Bayou.
3. Fresh beignets that honestly tasted just like the ones from Cafe Du Monde in the French Quarters. So mouth water good and you can get away with feeding your family of 5 for less than $10. Add in some fruit and you’ve just served everyone in your party a Disney breakfast for $20…..I know, I sound like my father right now. 🙃 #apennysavedisapennyearned
4. The pool area for the kids was absolutely adorable. They had a splash area for little ones that was gated off and separate from the big kids area. For mommas of littles, I know this would make you feel safe. 😉
5. It’s a very tiny resort and I loved the small feel of it. Not having to walk a million miles from the room to the lobby or the pool w/ kids is always a bonus.
6. The rooms are newly renovated. All the praise hands for wood flooring and no carpeting. Clean and cutely themed.
7. They take you by boat to Disney Springs. This is where all of the shops and dining are located. It’s a 15min boat ride which is fun for both adults and kiddos & this is absolutely free to anyone staying at this resort.
8. The buses for the parks are quick. They told us that they would be there every 15-20 minutes. Both times Zackery and I rode the bus, they were there one after another with no additional stops anywhere else. Nice bonus.
9. There’s a playground for littles right next to the pool. Again, small resort which has big perks!
10. Everyone is extremely kind and accommodating. Check in time wasn’t until 4pm. Zackery and I showed up at 10am and they checked us in early (way early) and found us to our room. 😱
11. The food court area right next to the lobby has affordable food for everyone. They have the themed food such as gumbo and jambalaya but they also have burgers and chicken strips too!
12. French Quarters is a moderate resort which is in between value & deluxe. We have stayed with the kids at both value resorts (POP & AOA) and deluxe resorts (Polynesian) but this one most definitely feels more like a deluxe. You definitely know that you are getting the most bang for your buck here.
If you’re headed to Disney soon, be sure to check out this hidden gem of a resort. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
